Hiking Essentials 101 at Guadalupe River State Park

Learn the basics of hitting the trail during Hiking Essentials 101 at Guadalupe River State Park on September 25 from 9–10 AM. This interactive program combines a fun hiking game with an easy walk of less than three-quarters of a mile while introducing the must-have items for an outdoor adventure.
The program is open to all ages, and no registration is required. Participants should meet behind the Discovery Center and bring sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection.
The program is free with regular park admission. Admission is $7 for adults, while children ages 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather.
